MORNING LINE COLT SELLS FOR $300,000 AT FT MIDLANTIC

Lane’s End stallion Morning Line saw his biggest sale yet this week when a colt out of Latitude Forty went through the ring at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic. Consigned as hip 310, the colt was purchased by Turnpike Partners for $300,000, becoming the highest-priced two-year-old of the year for the Lane’s End Stallion.
The Grade I-winning son of Tiznow continues to be a leader amongst North American second-crop sires on the track, while posting outstanding results in the sales ring. Morning Line has sired six black-type horses, ranking him eighth amongst second-crop sires in North America. With a duo of black-type winners, Morning Line is ninth on the leading second-crop sire list in that category. Multiple stakes-placed sophomore Morning Breez and the West Point-owned Seven Trumpets are two of the exciting sophomores by Morning Line gearing up for a big summer campaign.
With two hips catalogued to the OBS June Sale and a bevy of new two-year-olds by Morning Line ready to hit the track, the summer is just starting to heat up for Morning Line.
